I went to an old district in Chengdu where many Tibetan people live. Because of the political situation between Tibet and China, Tibetan people are allowed to live in China under some specific circumstances but to be honest I never felt they were accepted by the Chinese people. They were separated into small groups and guarded by the police. Some of them were sewing traditional clothes, making music or just happily chatting. While walking around and having a look I saw a Tibetan woman cleaning two pots inside an alley. I didn't feel like she was at the right place. This picture is also the reason why I started to build some interest for Tibetan culture and why I made my way to the border of Tibet a few years later.
